Because of preliminary successes in providing technical assistance to groups wishing to provide affordable housing, SHIP's dedicated team of experts have begun to expand their efforts by increasing their ability to help organizations provide safe, permanent, affordable, appropriate, and secure housing for residents in the City of Saskatoon and surrounding communities.

The Development Services team at the Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) can support affordable housing providers and organizations in creating viable and sustainable business plans for affordable housing projects. Our team can provide assistance with developing plans, undertaking demonstration projects, and assisting providers with securing the long-term resources necessary to build their organizational capacities.

Because every organization wishing to provide affordable housing is unique, our team is dedicated to finding links to appropriate knowledge and resource bases available through SHIP's expansive network of residential construction companies, financial institutions, engineering consultancies and firms, as well as non-profit organizations.
